What is Guar?

The guar, also called cluster bean and scientifically known as Cyamopsis tetragonoloba, is an annual legume that produces guar gum. It is sometimes referred to as gavar, gawar, or guvar bean — and is the primary raw material processed by Maheshwary Hydrocolloids Advance Pvt. Ltd., a trusted exporter of guar-based products.
Guar gum, a natural biopolymer, is obtained from the seeds of this plant. Guar Split

The obtained splits are then wet-milled into a fine powder, which is subsequently graded based on granulation and quality. The final products are carefully re-blended as per required specifications, then packed and labeled accordingly — a process carried out with precision in the two manufacturing units of Maheshwary Hydrocolloids Advance Pvt. Ltd.
These splits are produced by mechanically removing the outer husk of guar seeds, resulting in about 28–30% refined splits. They serve as a crucial raw material for manufacturing guar gum, and at Maheshwary Hydrocolloids, these splits are further processed to meet global export standards.

Guar Seed

Guar seed is the bean obtained from the Cyamopsis tetragonolobus plant, an annual legume mainly grown in India. It is also consumed as a green vegetable in its immature form.
